PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision

This doctoral program in leadership is aimed at people who want to guide educational practice in public and private schools, in college administration, or through research and teaching about policy. Admission requires either a master's or an education specialist credential in school leadership or administration. Those with the specialist degree begin with advanced standing, and part of that coursework counts as their cognate. The program is built for working adults: students move through courses as a cohort, and leadership classes meet on weekday evenings. Oakland University is located in Rochester, Michigan. Prospective students can review current course requirements, request more information or begin an application through the program's official page. Because costs, start terms and requirements can change from year to year, applicants should confirm the latest details with the department before they apply.
