AA/AS in Business/Commerce, General

The Business Management associate of applied science focuses on skills used to lead small teams and keep daily operations running. Topics include supervision, operations, human resources and coordinating projects. Students work through case studies and realistic management scenarios rather than theory alone. Graduates aim for roles such as team lead, office manager, operations coordinator or shift supervisor. The degree sits alongside shorter certificates, and certificate coursework can be applied toward the AAS later. Classes are delivered on campus or in a hybrid format at Paris, Greenville and Sulphur Springs. A Business Management Coordinator is available to answer questions. Prospective students can consult the college catalog and student handbook for course listings, and the contact person can explain how the plan fits their goals, schedule and intended transfer or employment path after completion.
