AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

Any student may enter this criminal justice program, which offers preparation for careers in law enforcement or corrections. Practitioners who are already employed can use it to deepen their knowledge and professional competence. Students whose earlier training was approved by Florida's criminal justice standards commission and delivered at a Florida certified center, may receive articulated credit, up to a maximum of fifteen credits. Training from certain nationally recognized institutions is also considered. The degree includes College Credit Certificates in Criminal Justice Technology Specialist and Crime Scene Technician, and students are urged to request a certificate once its requirements are met.
