BA/BS in Cell/Cellular Biology and Anatomical Sciences

This interdisciplinary major grounds students in biology from molecules to ecosystems while concentrating on cellular and molecular methods. Undergraduates join research teams with biology faculty and tackle problems in biomedical, industrial and ecological settings. Research comes through elective laboratories, supervised projects and internships with local companies such as pharmaceutical firms, breweries and hospitals. Students are encouraged to spend a semester at the university's campus in Ireland. The program is offered on campus with hybrid elements, and dual degree options allow direct admission to a graduate program.
