AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

The Associate in Science in Business Administration with a management concentration is a sixty-credit program aimed at people who want to understand how organizations operate and how people behave inside them. It suits future supervisors, team leaders and managers in many kinds of workplaces. The curriculum covers management, economics, marketing, international business, statistics, accounting, business and employment law, human resources, supervision and software skills, along with writing and public speaking. A three-credit internship closes the degree and places students in a professional setting. Graduates can enter the workforce or transfer into bachelor's programs at Santa Fe College or other state colleges. Students also have access to networking in the local business community and to study abroad opportunities. No special admission requirements apply, and students who need preparatory courses can take them before starting program classes.
