BA/BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Students in this bachelor's program learn to build the electronics, computing, energy and communication technologies that modern systems depend on. The course of study blends general education, mathematics and science with specialist work in both electrical and computer engineering. Classroom instruction is paired with practical projects, and the curriculum culminates in a capstone design effort spanning two semesters. Learners frequently join teams drawn from several disciplines to design, assemble and test complex systems, which develops collaboration and communication alongside technical ability. The program is accredited by ABET, the engineering accrediting body, and its modest class sizes allow faculty to mentor students closely. Opportunities to take part in faculty research and campus research centers, as well as ties to industry, expose students to genuine engineering problems before graduation.
