Program details

Overview

The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering awards an undergraduate science degree in electrical engineering. That degree holds ABET accreditation from the engineering commission, evaluated under criteria written for electrical and comparably named programs, and the commission also covers the computer engineering side. Department pages publish the computer engineering curriculum along with course lists and details about the people who teach and support it. An industrial advisory board links the program to working engineers, while student organizations let undergraduates join professional communities during their studies. Anyone considering the program can use the program links to learn about course requirements and the resources available. Admission procedures, requirements and deadlines should be verified with admissions staff and the department prior to applying, since they may be revised between academic years.
