BA/BS in Social Work

The Department of Social Work frames its field as the profession that provides care for people across the whole life cycle. Undergraduates pursue the Bachelor of Social Work, which the department lists among its degrees offered. The Council on Social Work Education has accredited the department's BSW program since early in its history. That body is a national association of professional social work educators and programs and is recognised by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The department page includes sections on mission, vision, contact details and accreditation, offering applicants a clear picture of the program's professional grounding. Tuskegee University is a private institution in Alabama, and this program is taught within one of its colleges or schools. Applicants should confirm current admission procedures, course requirements and deadlines with the university's admissions office and the relevant department before applying, since details can change between academic years.
