Overview

The Master of Science in Engineering is a flexible graduate degree in the College of Engineering for students who want a wider mix of courses than a single-discipline master's allows. It is offered as a distance-delivered option. Courses run in five eight-week sessions each year, which helps working engineers fit study around other commitments. Entry requires a bachelor's degree from an engineering program accredited by ABET's engineering or computing commissions, though graduates from programs recognized under the Washington Accord or the Seoul Accord can be considered. Applicants must also satisfy the general Graduate School requirements. Prospective applicants should contact the graduate coordinator or program office to confirm current admission steps, deadlines and program-specific policies before applying. Study takes place on the Fayetteville campus of the University of Arkansas, and the Graduate School handles the formal application.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Graduate School requirements plus a Bachelor of Science from an engineering program accredited by the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission or Computing Accreditation Commission; Washington or Seoul Accord graduates may be considered.
