BA/BS in Architecture

Architecture here is taught as a meeting point of creativity, culture, technology, sustainability and the solving of problems. Studio work is central, and the setting is modeled on a professional design office. The curriculum favors design excellence, newer digital tools, and a sense of social and environmental duty. Connections with design firms and community groups open doors to internships and experiential learning. Students can also collaborate with neighboring fields such as engineering, digital media and urban planning. Classes are held at Valencia College's West Campus instead of the main campus, which gives students a dedicated studio home while they remain part of the UCF community. The program is part of the Arts and Humanities college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
