BA/BS in Biology, General

Students acquire grounding in chemistry, math and physics alongside broad training across biology. They can follow a general plan or choose one of five specialized tracks. With a faculty advisor, they select electives in areas such as molecular, conservation and marine biology. The program can also prepare students for medical or veterinary school and other professional programs. Students build critical thinking and learn how science is conducted, including testing hypotheses. The program is part of the Sciences college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
