MA/MS in Architecture

The Master of Architecture is offered through the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture and is a first professional degree that holds NAAB accreditation and a STEM designation. It treats architecture as a civic, cultural and professional practice, with design leadership at its center. The curriculum is delivered in person around the design studio. It joins architectural design with engineering basics, sustainability and resilience, and a sense of urban responsibility, while keeping the arts and humanities in view. Students also work creatively with digital and AI-enabled tools. A flat yearly tuition structure and flexible scheduling are meant to let students hold part-time work and avoid heavy debt. The program director leads info sessions for prospective applicants. The program belongs to CETA at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, where students learn through project work, collaborate with faculty on research and gain industry exposure. Prospective applicants can request information, tour the campus and consult the course catalog.
