MA/MS in Applied Mathematics

The Applied Mathematics program is a master's course of study offered by the University of New Hampshire on its Durham campus. Its emphasis is on mathematical methods and computational techniques, including numerical computation, the motion of fluids and the behavior of dynamical systems. The published requirement is 30 credit hours, although the university advises that totals can differ and should be confirmed with an advisor. Students carry out hands-on research with faculty mentors. Graduates are prepared for the aerospace sector, data science and quantitative analysis. The pace of study varies, and the department can explain how full-time and part-time plans differ. Each plan of study is overseen by the relevant UNH college and department. Interested applicants can ask for more information, look up tuition costs on the university website and contact the program's faculty or admissions staff about exact course requirements.
