MA/MS in Library Science and Administration

The Master of Library and Information Studies is delivered entirely online for learners who want to work with information in libraries and other organizations. Coursework spans library and information services in several sectors, plus the management of information operations. A major theme is equity, examined alongside technology and information science. The curriculum treats information as a resource that must be organized, managed and made accessible to diverse users. Learners engage with both theory and practical application, which prepares them to respond to changing needs in their communities and workplaces. Prospective students should review the course schedule, course descriptions and admission information before applying. Because instruction is online, enrolled learners can complete coursework remotely while keeping current jobs and commitments. Students can plan coursework around work and family responsibilities.
