BA/BS in Computer Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is administered jointly by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering. It focuses on computing systems that interact with the physical world. Topics include sensing, actuation, timing, security, and devices of widely varying sizes, from servers to mobile products and internet-connected objects. The degree combines core courses, technical electives, a final capstone, and shared studies that all engineering students take. Required courses and electives cannot be taken pass/fail. Every student also has to satisfy the McKelvey School's general engineering degree rules.
