BA/BS in Biology, General

Biology at Western Washington University examines living organisms from molecules to ecosystems. Students can choose from several degrees and concentrations, among them biomedical science, marine work, molecular study, ecology and biodiversity. The bachelor of science curriculum prepares students for careers and graduate study across the field, prepares them for advanced study in health professions, and offers broad exposure for those seeking a general science education or a teaching path. The subdisciplines are linked by principles such as evolution and genetics, and students take part in research and internships. Prospective students can request information, estimate their costs and apply from the program page, and they can review the curriculum and the options for concentrations before choosing a path.
