BA/BS in Mathematics

This degree applies mathematics across areas such as financial technology, biology and engineering. It is intentionally interdisciplinary rather than narrowly theoretical. Students can complement the major with minors in data science, computer science, entrepreneurship or statistics, and can choose electives freely. A five-year accelerated route earns both a bachelor's and a master's. The degree is STEM-designated, so international graduates may be eligible for a longer stay to work in the United States under Optional Practical Training. Graduates go on to employers in research, insurance, health care and finance. Admission rounds include two early options and a regular deadline. Class sizes stay modest, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 13 to 1, and more than 270 student clubs and organizations operate on campus.
