Overview
Founded 1936 as National Pharmaceutical School.
During war time it moved to Hankou and to Chongqing. Relocated to Nanjing 1946.
Following the merger of Qilu University Parmaceutical Departement and Suzhou Pharmacy Special Training Section became East China Institute of Pharmacy 1952. Merged with Nanjing Institute of Traditional Chinese Pharmacology and acquired present title 1986.
Incorporated Jiangsu School of Pharmacy 2001.
