Bayan College is a higher education college in Halban, in the Barka area of the Sultanate of Oman.

Teaching is organised around English Studies, Media and Human Studies, the last of which includes Human Development and Family Studies, and a General Foundation Program prepares new students before they begin degree courses. Study is possible at diploma, bachelor's and master's level.

A diploma needs 72 credit hours, a standard bachelor's degree needs 126 and a master's degree needs 33, including a thesis. Full-time study usually takes two to three years for a diploma and four to five for a bachelor's degree, though the pace depends on English proficiency and on how long the foundation stage takes.

Teaching runs Sunday to Thursday, from early morning into the evening.

Entrants whose English is not yet strong enough begin in the Foundation Program. It has three levels covering English, mathematics, IT and study skills, follows Omani national standards for foundation education, and relies on a placement test to set each student's starting level.

An IELTS result of 5.0 lets an applicant skip the foundation stage. Admissions and registration follow the rules of Oman's higher education ministry.

The college is affiliated with Purdue University Northwest in the United States and provides a library, a learning management system and a student portal.
