Bachelor in Finance-Banking

The Bachelor in Finance-Banking is an undergraduate programme offered through the Department of Economic Sciences, which sits within Albanian University's Faculty of Applied Sciences. It runs for three academic years and totals 180 credits. The programme was licensed in 2005 and was re-accredited in 2019. Study combines foundation courses, general courses, specialist subjects and internships. Coursework keeps pace with developments in economic science and gives particular attention to finance and to the banking and non-banking institutions that operate in the sector. The programme prepares economists who can work chiefly in financial and monetary institutions, although the department notes that graduates are also equipped for finance roles in other parts of the economy, in line with labour market needs.
