The Master's programme in Computational Social Systems is aimed at students from computer science, economics, sociology, psychology, law and related fields who want to examine how digital technologies reshape their own discipline. Its core teaches computing foundations such as data structures, algorithms, statistics, machine learning and data science. Students then apply these skills to specialisations that include data-driven business models, socio-technical questions, artificial life, robotics and data protection law. The course is taught in English and leads to the Master of Science, following a study plan of four semesters and 120 ECTS credits. Graduates learn to understand, classify and predict how users behave with digital technologies, and to apply this knowledge in their chosen field.
