This four-year Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical, coded ENT8051, is Bahrain Polytechnic School of Engineering's combined mechanical-and-electrical specialism, set at the institution's Level 8 tier. As with the school's other engineering awards, teaching centres on project-based work: students design and build solutions to real engineering problems, developing teamwork, planning and presentation skills using the faculty's own labs and current research.
The qualification requires a 30-credit final-year engineering project, 45 credits from the faculty's elective groups, and 15 credits of national-requirement courses on top of the core electromechanical schedule, reaching 480 credits in total, along with 80 days of structured work placement before graduation. Entry draws from high-school leavers, international students and people already in employment, feeding into roles that combine mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines across Bahrain's industrial sector.
