Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

Gulf University's BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering programme blends theory and practice across mechanical design work and modelling, materials science, automated control, and thermo-fluid behaviour, together with corrosion and condition monitoring, and considers sustainability and innovation within industry and business. Teaching is delivered in partnership with the University of Northampton, with the option to complete one or two semesters on the UK campus, and students build practical experience through hands-on computer and laboratory work drawing on faculty from both institutions. The programme opens membership opportunities with IEEE and a national partnership with Bahrain Fab Lab, and merit scholarships worth up to 30 percent of course fees are available to eligible applicants. Study runs full time over 130 credit hours at the Sanad campus, with intakes each September, January, and May for transfer students.
