Coded ENT8021 and delivered by Bahrain Polytechnic's School of Engineering, this four-year Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical specialises students within a shared engineering framework set at the institution's Level 8 tier. Teaching is built around project work rather than lecture-heavy delivery: students take on design-and-build tasks meant to develop teamwork, planning and presentation skills alongside the core mechanical-engineering content, using the faculty's own labs and current research to keep the technical material current.
To graduate, students complete the mechanical schedule together with at least 30 further elective credits, 15 credits of national-requirement courses, and 45 credits chosen from the faculty's wider engineering elective groups, reaching 480 credits overall. The degree also builds in 80 days of structured work placement before graduation, giving students direct industry exposure, and is aimed at high-school leavers, international students, working adults and Bahrain Polytechnic students transferring in from another programme.
