BSc (Hons) Psychology

This psychology degree gives students a detailed understanding of the human mind and how it shapes behaviour and action, building the analytical and research skills needed for further study or a career built around psychological knowledge. Coursework develops transferable skills by applying academic theory to everyday settings rather than treating psychology as a purely theoretical subject. Optional later modules include the psychology of mental health and a workplace psychology placement, giving students routes into applied and clinical-adjacent areas of the field. The degree runs over four years of full-time study taught in English, opening with a foundation year. Entry asks for IELTS 4.5 overall with no component under 4.0, and a high school diploma averaging 75% or better across the final three years, including mathematics. A direct-entry route accepts GCSE English and Maths at grade C/level 4, plus A-Levels worth 112-120 points.
