Micro-credential in Advanced Forensic Nurse Examiner Micro-credential

Admission Requirements: BCIT runs no formal application for this micro-credential; instead applicants email their BCIT ID number to the forensics program with a description of their education and work experience related to forensic nursing. Recommended background, rather than a strict prerequisite, includes completion of FSCT 7810 (Introduction to Forensic Health Sciences) and FSCT 7840 (Forensic Nurse Examiner Core Education: Theoretical Aspects), or permission from the forensics department, plus experience working as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. No minimum grade, GPA or English/French language test score is published. International applicants may take the program if studying from outside Canada or holding valid Canadian status other than a study permit, but BCIT states that those accepted are not eligible for a study permit through it.
