Textile Studies Certificate - UBCV

Admission Requirements: UBC's Academic Calendar entry for the Undergraduate Certificate in Textile Studies states that applicants should have completed at least one introductory course in apparel construction. Applicants not already enrolled in a UBC degree program may be admitted provided they meet the minimum standards for undergraduate admission at UBC, including language proficiency; current UBC students may instead complete the certificate without formally applying for admission if they are enrolled in the third or fourth year of an eligible degree program (the Diploma in Education (Home Economics), B. Fashion Design and Technology at KPU, or a UBC B.A., B.A.Sc., or B.Sc.). The calendar does not publish a certificate-specific English test score, referring instead to UBC's general undergraduate language-proficiency standard. No portfolio or interview is described; graduates apply to receive the certificate through Workday and are not part of UBC's graduation ceremonies.
