Admission Requirements: Admission requires one of: a BA (honours or equivalent) in English, history, or philosophy; a four-year BA with a major in one of those disciplines; a BA with 24 or more senior-level (300-400) semester hours in one of those disciplines; a BEd with a major in one of those disciplines or minors in at least two; or a strong BA program spanning diverse humanities disciplines. The program requires an average of B+ in the relevant humanities disciplines; applicants with a weaker academic background may be considered for qualifying studies at the program director's discretion. Applications need two references (one professional and one academic, or two academic), an admissions statement of 500-700 words, an official transcript, and a writing sample may be requested.
