The Certificate in Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship (CALE) is a five-course certificate offered through Trinity Western University's School of the Arts, Media + Culture, for students in the arts who want to build business skills alongside their creative training. The certificate combines core business fundamentals with hands-on, client-facing projects, giving students experience working with real clients while developing business, financial, and marketing skills. It is designed to fit into any TWU degree, particularly one within the School of the Arts, Media + Culture, rather than being completed as a stand-alone credential. Coursework focuses on the practical side of sustaining a creative practice or arts-related business, preparing graduates for leadership and entrepreneurial roles in arts organizations and creative businesses. The certificate does not have a separate application process beyond standard Trinity Western University admission, and it can be added to an existing degree in fields such as art and design, media and communication, music, or game development.
