Overview

The Baccalauréat en Éducation at the Université de l'Ontario français trains French-language teachers in downtown Toronto through two distinct pathways: a combined B.A.-B.Éd. of 150 credits taken alongside an undergraduate degree, and a 12-month post-degree (consécutif) B.Éd. of 32 credits for applicants who already hold a bachelor's. Instruction is entirely in French, and the combined pathway carries the university's strictest French requirement (DALF C1 for applicants tested externally) plus MHF4U and MCV4U at 70% for Ontario secondary applicants. Ontario graduates entering the combined pathway receive an automatic 18,000 CAD entrance scholarship paid over four years. Tuition, duration and credit load differ between the two pathways, so consult the pathway-specific pages for fees.
