Business Administration (MBA)

Admission Requirements: Admission to the MBA is per UQTR's program-based process, with two routes. The university-basis route requires a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.3 (or, for applicants schooled outside Quebec, an equivalent first-cycle degree such as a North American bachelor's, a French LMD licence, a Master 1, or a Bacc+4, with a minimum 12/20 average) plus at least three years of relevant management experience; the experience-basis route needs no bachelor's degree but requires at least five years of relevant management experience as a resource manager, executive, professional, self-employed worker or entrepreneur (university internships excluded). The Project Management concentration additionally expects foundational statistics, financial mathematics, accounting and microcomputer skills, with supplementary courses imposed if needed. Candidates must show adequate spoken and written French and sufficient written-English comprehension; international applicants from non-French-speaking countries must also pass the TCF French test within six months of applying. Required documents include a CV, employment attestation, transcripts and a motivation letter; international students must enrol full-time for immigration purposes.
