The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) is a French-language public university founded on 19 March 1969 in Trois-Rivières, Québec, and part of the Université du Québec network.
In fall 2025 it enrolled 15,129 students, including 3,035 international students from 78 countries, across more than 400 programs delivered by 27 departments and three schools — the École d'ingénierie, the École de gestion and the École internationale de français. Beyond the main Trois-Rivières campus, UQTR teaches at regional campuses in Drummondville, Québec City, L'Assomption, Terrebonne, Joliette and Longueuil.
The university is known for professional health programs taught nowhere else in the Québec university system: its first-cycle doctorate in chiropractic is the only program in Québec's university system giving access to the chiropractic profession — and for more than 30 years the only university chiropractic program in the French-speaking world — alongside a first-cycle doctorate in podiatric medicine and a bachelor in midwifery practice. An on-campus university health clinic offers care in chiropractic, occupational therapy, kinesiology and sports therapy, speech-language pathology, podiatry, psychology and neuropsychology.
