Overview
The Master of Business Administration at University Canada West is a two-year graduate degree accredited by the ACBSP and carrying the NCMA designation. The curriculum covers integrated business knowledge across ethics and sustainability, accounting and financial management, talent management and organizational behaviour, business analytics, operations and supply chain management, leadership and strategic planning, marketing and digital transformation, and project management, supported by partnerships with technology providers including Salesforce, AWS, and Tableau. Students can choose from specializations in Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Leadership, Supply Chain Management, or Business Analytics, along with electives in areas such as Human Resources, Financial Management, and Digital Marketing. Delivery follows a hybrid model, blending on-campus classes with online guided learning across twelve-week terms, and students progress through the program as part of a cohort that begins together each term. Near the end of the program, students choose among several exit options, including a consulting project, a venture-launch course, an employer-based practicum, an academic research project, or further coursework. Admission requires a bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0, along with GMAT or GRE scores, a relevant professional designation, a business or STEM background, or at least three years of documented professional or management experience. Four intakes run each year.

Admission Requirements: A bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better on UCW's 4.33 scale. Applicants without the minimum average may instead qualify through a relevant Canadian professional designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, CHRP or P.Eng), a business or STEM-related undergraduate degree, or at least three years of documented professional or management experience showing career progression. GMAT or GRE scores from within the last five years are accepted but not mandatory. Applicants whose first language is not English must present an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or an equivalent TOEFL, PTE or Duolingo score valid within two years; the requirement is waived for graduates of a recognized degree taught in an English-speaking country. The MBA admits students in Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer terms.

Application Deadline:University Canada West has so far published only two terms of the current cycle: Fall 2026 closed 7 September 2026 for domestic applicants and 17 August 2026 for international applicants, three weeks earlier to allow time for study permits, while Summer 2026 closed 15 June (domestic) and 25 May (international). UCW has not yet posted Winter 2027 or Spring 2027 deadlines on its dates-and-deadlines page as of September 2026, and every published date is marked 'subject to change.' The university runs Fall, Winter and Spring intakes and allows deferrals of up to one year; admission is not described as rolling -- these are fixed per-term cut-offs, simply not yet published for the next two intakes. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
