The Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy, delivered through the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, combines theoretical study with clinical training across cancer biology, radiation oncology, clinical management of cancer patients, medical physics, treatment planning, radiobiology, cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety and protection, and research. The four-year, on-campus program in Edmonton comprises one year of pre-professional study followed by three years within the faculty, and includes clinical practicums in which students work directly with patients on physical assessment and treatment delivery.
