This is a thesis-based Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Calgary, in which doctoral students contribute original research to the discipline. Admission Requirements: Admission requires a master's degree or equivalent in the subject of the intended specialization, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale calculated over the last two years of full-time study. Applicants whose primary language is not English must meet the Faculty of Science's English Language Proficiency requirements set out in the Academic Calendar. Applications are accepted for the September intake, with a January 15 deadline for both Canadian/permanent-resident and international applicants.
