Special and Inclusive Education Diploma

The Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education builds on the Professional Specialization Certificate in Special and Inclusive Education with further coursework in the advanced intervention of developmental disabilities, behaviour challenges, and assistive technologies, alongside inclusive education practices and consultation skills for working with school teams and families. The curriculum was developed in collaboration with teachers and school district leaders and is delivered by multidisciplinary faculty specializing in child development and learning needs assessment. All coursework is offered online, and the diploma is intended for working professionals studying on a part-time basis. Together with its prerequisite certificate, the diploma totals 15 units of study. According to the program's official page, the diploma is currently on pause for redevelopment and is not accepting new applicants.
