BA/BS in Softwarové inženýrství

The programme concentrates on modelling software systems, object-oriented programming and the design of network applications. It stresses practical skills, team spirit, analytical methods, linking hardware and software design and systems testing, alongside databases and the user interface of mobile and web applications. Course units include basic programming, software analysis and modelling, algorithms and data structures, interaction design, mobile application programming, computer architecture, operating systems, computer networks, electrical circuits, microcomputer programming and basics of artificial intelligence. Graduates can take roles in development and testing teams in software companies, maintain support software products, build dynamic web pages, administer computer networks or work as microcomputer programmers.
