AA/AS in Energiteknolog

Energiteknolog is a two-year vocational academy programme for students who want to become technical consultants in the green transition. It teaches how to convert building and process energy supply to climate-friendly solutions such as heat pumps, solar and wind power, and energy storage. The programme draws on several fields, so graduates can advise decision-makers on small buildings and large installations alike. Students learn to dimension and assess renewable energy sources and to advise on solar cells, solar heating, biomass and electrical and thermal storage. Electives currently offered include energy consultant I (energy labelling of family houses), facility management and a project in a self-chosen topic. The first ten weeks of the fourth semester are an internship in Denmark or abroad, followed by a graduation project.
