Program details

Overview

VVS-installatør is a two-year vocational academy programme for students with vocational training who want to become managers, consultants or self-employed in the plumbing and technical trades, and who may qualify for authorisation. Students learn sanitary, heating, gas, indoor climate and automation and control systems. The programme also covers green plumbing solutions such as hybrid systems, biogas and hydrogen. Students learn to calculate energy use, switch between energy forms and make installations more energy-efficient and sustainable. The first ten weeks of the fourth semester are an internship in a relevant company, which typically forms the basis of the final project. The graduation project is either a tender project for a plumbing installation or a specialisation in a chosen topic.
