Overview

The financial economist programme gives students broad knowledge of business economics, micro- and macroeconomics, business and finance law, personal finance advice, sales, marketing, organisation and management. Teaching uses cases inspired by the financial sectors, including banking, mortgage credit, insurance, property trading and pensions, so students can link new knowledge to the job market. The third semester offers a study period abroad, typically at a partner university in Europe or elsewhere. The fourth semester is a three-month placement in a company, where students apply their qualifications in practice. The placement is usually unpaid. The programme lasts about two years and is offered at EK Landemærket and online.
