Classical Music

The classical programmes let students develop their skills both within individual subjects and across classical disciplines, with opportunities to play concerts and chamber music, attend master classes, take part in internal competitions, and join projects like opera productions or orchestra training courses. Students can also collaborate with the Academy's jazz/pop and electronic music students. The programmes span a range of genres, periods, methods and tuition formats, allowing for both specialisation and a more general education, with tuition offered in all common classical instruments and fields. At master's level, the aim is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to work as a musician, singer, composer or music teacher at the highest level, with the degree concluding in a master's project.
