Deep Dive into Entrepreneurship

This course is built around learning the entrepreneurial process through a combination of theory, reflection and practical exercises, with the explicit aim of turning conceptual understanding into applied practice rather than leaving it purely academic. Central to the course is making students aware that entrepreneurship fundamentally concerns ideas, resources and the willingness to take action, and that pursuing it successfully calls for a genuinely entrepreneurial disposition. That disposition is framed as involving professionalism, personality, identity and personal values, whatever direction the entrepreneurial work takes. The course treats this approach as relevant whether someone is driving change from within an existing organisation, sometimes called intrapreneurship, or building an entirely new business from scratch, the more traditional sense of entrepreneurship as commonly understood.
