Campus Silkeborg is a small campus with a large community. It is situated in beautiful surroundings close to the forests and lakes, but in walking distance of the town of Silkeborg.Campus Silkeborg offers full degree programmes within the fields of nursing, teaching and pedagogy in Danish. However, VIA Faculty of Education and Social Studies also offers international modules taught in English.
Campus Randers English
Campus Randers is a modern campus with room for both academic immersion and social activities. It is located in downtown Randers, near the bus station, cafes and shopping.Campus Randers offers full degree programmes within psychomotor, pedagogy and nursing in Danish. It is also possible to do an exchange semester in the Psychomotor Therapy Exchange Programme, where you will be assigned a "buddy" among the other students, who will help with the translation, as the programme is only offered in Danish.

Campus Holstebro was the first of VIA's 8 campuses, and today several programmes within the fields of teaching, pedagogy and social work, health and construction are offered here in Danish. This campus opened in the summer of 2010 and has a modern layout as well as a central placement in Viborg.Campus Viborg offers programmes taught in Danish within the fields of nursing, social education, administration and technology as well as a number of programmes taught and conducted in English including nursing and software technology.The Animation Workshop is also situated in Viborg - a state of the art school that are among the best in the world within animation and graphic arts. Programmes offered include Character Animation, Computer Graphic Arts and Graphic Storytelling - all taught in English.Additionally, a number of exchange programmes are offered.
Campus Aarhus N English
Campus Aarhus N is home to seven of VIA's health professional programmes. This means that students become part of a community of health professionals located close to Aarhus University Hospital.The campus was opened by HRH Crown Princess Mary on 11th October 2011 and has a modern expression with attractive classrooms, large auditoriums, laboratories, gymnasiums and kitchens with the newest equipment. In addition, the building has a large atrium, common areas for group work and studying and a large canteen with healthy food at student friendly prices.
Campus Aarhus C English
Campus Aarhus C is a totally new and modern campus with many specialties and a wide variety of international and Danish-language programmes. The Campus is 46,000 squaremeters divided in 5 buildings, each with 4-6 floors.The buildings display innovative and playful architecture and has been awarded with an architectural prize as one of the 3 best and most beautiful new constructions in Aarhus. Facilities include roof-top running track and basket ball court, spacious and bright classrooms and auditoriums, canteen and student cafe and bar.Campus Aarhus C is located in the center of Aarhus - the second largest city in Denmark with approximately 320.000 inhabitants.Campus Aarhus C offers programmes in Danish within the fields of teaching, social education, social work, construction, engineering, business and management as well as programmes taught and conducted in English within architecture, technology, engineering, business and management. Both Danish and international students create a very active study environment in which common areas and closely situated student accommodation will frame your life.Campus Horsens offers a number of programmes taught in English primarily within the fields of architecture, engineering, marketing, management and business. Comics is a complex form of expression using several different features on every single page.Understanding all the tools applied in this medium is decisive to clearly communicate stories or messages in comic form.The objective of this program element is for students to become familiar with all the processes involved in creating comics – idea generation, manuscript writing, thumbnailing, layouting, sketching, preparing working drawings, finishing, lettering, etc. as well as with all the elements that comics consist of (drawings, pictures, transitions, page layout, etc.) and how to combine all the elements in an optimal way.The course corresponds to the module “Comic Tools”, which relates to the core area: Sequential Storytelling” of the bachelor in Graphic Storytelling at The Animation Workshop. Unleash your creativity and dive into the captivating world of digital 2D Character Animation. The course is based on the program element “Animation Basics 2”, which relates to the core area: 2D Character Animation Theory, Methods and Techniques” of the renowned bachelor in Character Animation at The Animation Workshop.The content of the program element is executed through a series of exercises with focus on animation physicality, acting and movement cycles in Toon Boom Harmony. The summer school is primarily for students of animation as well as animation professionals and others with some animation experience.You will be practicing your ability to animate characters in 2d walking, implementing the principles of physicality and acting. United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Co-Creation Law 10 ECTS credits English
This summer school unfolds the United Nations’ sustainable development goals through student participation in a cross cultural and cross educational context. You will get a unique opportunity to obtain new knowledge, while learning to solve real-life problems related to the Sustainable Development Goals through problem-based learning.As an important part of the summer school, you will get real-life challenges from co-creative partners outside VIA University College. The co-creative partners can be NGOs, private companies, socio-economic enterprises or public authorities. Students are free to choose among several challenges all related to the UN’s 17 SDGs. You will work in close cooperation with the partners to find relevant and useful solutions to the challenges. The solutions will contribute to the partners’ daily activities. Then join Nature in Social Education!Nature in Social Education focuses on how body, nature, nature experiences, outdoor surroundings and activities can support the personal development and learning processes of children and others and how this can promote interest in nature, environmental issues and sustainability.The programme is a combination of theoretical teaching, practical training and an internship.
