Given the human-resource shortages facing Fiji and the wider region, this diploma focuses on industrial and employment relations alongside human resource development, framed within a broad strategic-management context. Students learn to align workforce and individual skills with organisational change and growth, preparing for roles such as training and development management, organisational change management and workforce planning across both private and public sector bodies.
Taught across the Nasinu, Labasa, Namaka and Ba campuses over two years for 240 credit points, the programme majors in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and includes a four-month directed industrial attachment taken after students complete 50% of their courses.
