Overview

The programme trains pharmacy experts for all areas of health care, covering the chemistry of medicinal and excipient substances, drug manufacturing, biomedical pharmacy, drug therapy and medicines from a societal perspective. The theory is condensed into three years of study. Two paid three-month practical placements in pharmacies or hospital pharmacies apply the theory, and one of them can be completed abroad. Laboratory and small-group work and independent projects complement the lectures. The 180 ECTS degree is taught in Finnish.
