MA/MS in Biologia, maisteri (2 v)

The two-year Master's programme in Biology explores life and the effects of environmental change from molecular to ecosystem level at the Joensuu campus. Teaching is international and mostly in English, and includes lectures, laboratory exercises and field courses that build methodological skills and expert readiness. Students can direct their studies towards ecology, genetics, physiology or molecular biology. The master's thesis offers the opportunity to take part in research. The programme comprises 120 ECTS credits and provides a broad range of minor-subject options from across the university.
