MA/MS in Fysiikka, maisteri (2 v)

The two-year Master of Science in Physics, taught in Finnish, trains students to understand, measure and model natural phenomena at scales from single atoms to galaxies. Students combine knowledge of natural laws with precise problem formulation and mathematical methods. Applications range from quantum computing and new materials to renewable energy and the solar wind's effect on Earth's atmosphere. The master's phase offers specialisations in quantum systems physics, green transition physics, space sciences and subject teacher education. Graduates can work as researchers, experts in administration or industry, or teachers at various school levels. The degree is 120 ECTS credits and tuition-free.
