Overview
The Licence in Classical Literature rests on the fundamentals of French language and literature, and on Latin and Greek. In Latin and Greek, first year builds grammar skills for beginners or advanced learners, with an introduction to linguistics and literary works. Second year deepens this through major works of the ancient corpus and literary genres. In third year students specialise by choosing between linguistics and literature, then through free credits aligned with their plans. Additional modern language skills and computing training (C2i) are included, and first and third years feature workshops. The degree leads toward research master's study and is set at BAC +3 with 180 ECTS credits.
