Overview
The professional Licence in heritage protection and enhancement, run by the literature and humanities departments, trains operational professionals with broad historical and heritage culture for the Guianas plateau. Courses cover the history, anthropology and literature of the Guianas, along with technical subjects including law, archaeology, museology and tourism. Students must reach working competence in English. Semester five includes history and societies of the Guianas (8 ECTS) and courses on heritage schemes and policies. The programme is delivered mainly through work-study, with initial training also available, and leads to a Bac+3 degree of 180 ECTS.
