Overview
The Médial pathway of the Lettres master trains specialists in cultural mediation. It combines the study of literary and artistic works with the skills needed to present them to the public, through discourse, event organisation and institutional or associative projects that promote culture. The course is interdisciplinary, linking letters and arts, and pays attention to contemporary issues such as new media, cross-media forms, hybrid cultural practices and changing audiences.
The teaching relies on experimentation and close contact with cultural professionals in the local, national and international scene. Students learn to design a cultural programme, contribute to specialised cultural journals, build heritage routes and create multimedia support for exhibitions, performances and lecture series.
